Anika Noni has a career as a vocalist and actress from the United States. Her best-known role is as Tiana The first Disney African American Princess. The year 2011, Rose was recognized as one of the Disney Legend. Rose appeared in Lorrell Robinson, the Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni (born on September 6 7th, 1972) is a singer as well as an American actor. She is best known for playing Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as she appeared in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney named her a Legend in the year 2011. Her other starring part, playing Lorrell Robinson on the show Dreamgirls (2006) which was nominated for an Academy Award. And she performs the role of LaVerne Jukebox Ganner in the Starz series Power. In addition to her acting, she is famous for the roles she played in the theater. This includes Emmie Thibodeaux in the Broadway adaptation of Caroline or Change (2005) where the Tony Award Best Features Actress in A Musical award was given and Beneatha in the Broadway revival A Raisin in the Sun (2017) for which the Tony Award Best Features Actress in Play nominations were announced.
